In an offseason that saw several new additions join the Florida Panthers family both on and off the ice, the team’s final new addition, a brand new state-of-the-art scoreboard, is set to be unveiled tonight in front of a full house at the BB&T Center in Sunrise as the team hosts the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:30 P.M.
The new scoreboard measures 30 x 40 feet and was designed by Anthony James Partners. This state-of-the-art project boasts one of the first pitched-forward, 360-degree continuous primary screens in professional sports. The 6mm LED high-definition screens will measure 16-feet high and wrap approximately 168-feet around the scoreboard. Although the scoreboard will be predominantly digital, it still contains both the BB&T Center and Broward County logos.
