Panthers Sign RW Joey Crabb

The Florida Panthers have already been quietly busy this morning signing RFA Shawn Matthias to a 2 year 1.75$ AVV deal. In addition to this signing, the Panthers announced Friday afternoon that they signed RW Joey Crabb to a 2 year deal.

Crabb, who has played for the Atlanta Thrashes, Toronto Maple Leafs, and most recently the Washington Capitals, will most likely fill the hole that Jack Skille left wide open. The Florida Panthers decided against sending right-winger Skille a qualifying offer which leaves a spot open for Joey Crabb on the 4th line.

Crabb saw his best season in 2011-2012 while playing with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He tallied 26 points in 67 games.
