Help Support My Movember Efforts
The month of November is here and for me it’s loaded with birthdays for relatives, friends and myself. It also means that Movember is underway. What is Movember? The movement which is designed to raise awareness for prostate cancer began in Melbourne, Australia and has become globally supported with over 1.9 million inspired participants since it’s inception in 2003.
In order to show support for Movember, participants start out clean shaven, and then grow mustaches (only) for the entire month. I will be accepting donations throughout the month of Movember directly at my personal Movember page located right here. Last year more than over 850,000 participants worldwide raised over $125 million dollars (Canadian).
While we know that times are tough, maybe you can reach into your cookie jar where you keep your loose change, or check under the seat of your car, or that space in your console where you keep your toll money. Any donation that you can make will help fight the cause.
We’ll keep a tab at the top of the site so you can check daily on our progress, and while you’re thinking about it, see if you have a couple quarters laying around that you can send in for the cause. No donation is too small. It’s Movember.
